This August, Ōamaru is turning up the heat with The Great Waitaki Warm Up - a two-week celebration of winter comfort, fabulous flavour and local flair. Ten favourite cafés, bars and eateries are serving up limited-edition winter warmers. Think steaming mulled wine, rich hot toddies, spirited and decadent hot chocolates, rich hand-crafted coffee blends, hearty soups and even a baked brie.

It’s your invitation to get out, warm up and support local.

Whether you're catching up with mates, craving a quiet moment or planning a winter date, you'll find something to savour - made with care, served with heart.
