Waitaki's Water Service Delivery Plan

At a meeting of Waitaki District Council on Tuesday 24 February 2026, the Mayor and Councillors directed officers to request entry to and prepare a Water Services Delivery Plan about joining the Southern Waters group.

This comes after months of meetings, discussions with Timaru District Council and Mackenzie District Council, and separate and collective discussions with the Southern Waters group.
