The Waitaki Aquatic Centre is a Council owned and operated swimming facility featuring a 25 metre lap pool, spa pool and a junior pool.
We offer a range of swim and fitness programmes as well as providing casual pool access for recreational swimming. There are fun activities for kids of all ages such as bombing tower, dive boards, tarzan swing and massive inflatables at selected times.

Give a gift of Swimming
Over the Christmas period the Waitaki Aquatic Centre ran a “Give a gift of Swimming” Campaign. We raised the money to help support families who would normally not be able to afford swimming lessons.
We are now reaching out to organisations and people in the community who may be able to help us identify families who will benefit from this campaign. To nominate a child or children please click on the link below and complete all the fields required. Please complete a separate nomination for each person.
