Our learn to swim programme is an excellent way for your child to develop vital life skills while becoming confident, capable and safer in the aquatic environment. Lessons for younger children are in the learners pool, with older children graduating to the main pool for their lessons.

We provide private swimming classes and adult swimming classes.
Swim school fees at the Aquatic Centre vary per class each term and there are no lessons on public holidays.
The Waitaki Aquatic Centre runs school holiday block lessons. We provide two holiday lessons each morning for five consecutive days during the holiday periods.
