Proposed Waitaki District Plan - mapping, GIS and ePlan issues

Over the last two weeks we have noticed and been made aware of some issues with the maps and ePlan tool that resulted in property reports and various layers not displaying. This has now been rectified and we encourage you to recheck the maps and lodge a submission.
Council recently agreed to extend the submission period by a week, from 9 May to 16 May 2025.

Candidate donations and expense returns

The Return of Electoral Expenses and Electoral Donations is a public document which we are required under legislation to make available for inspection by any person for a period of seven years after the date of election.

After an election, candidates are required to submit a return of candidate donations and expenses within 55 days of the publication of the election result.
