Customers on the TOKARAHI RURAL WATER SCHEME are advised to CONSERVE WATER until further notice.
Instead of going into Council Head Office at 20 Thames Street for enquiries and Council services, you can pop into Ōamaru Library at 62 Thames Street during the week or on a Saturday morning.
This exhibition has been created specifically for children and families, with hands-on activities to explore the Māori alphabet. Fifteen letters of the Māori alphabet are interpreted through a playful mixture of treasured taoka Māori with Artworks from the Forrester Gallery and Te Whare Taoka o Waitaki, Waitaki Museum.
The exhibition was designed by Rotorua Museum and has been a touring exhibition in Aotearoa since 2017. We are using the exhibition concept and design work by artist Kereama Taepa (Te Arawa, Te Atiawa) alongside our collection. Image: developed by Rotorua Museum Te Whare Taonga Te Arawa
