amaru Chorale are delighted to present Marianna Martines' Mass No 1. The mass, which was written in the 1760's, will be sung in 4 parts and features 4 talented soloists from Dunedin. The concert is in St Patrick's Basilica at 68 Reed St, Oamaru. All welcome. Entry is by koha.
The choir will be directed by David Beattie and accompanied on the piano by Ron Newton. The concert will begin with a Keyboard sonata in G Major, also written by Martines and played by Christine Turner.
A second performance will be given on 12th October in All Saints Church in Dunedin.
