Public Health Nurses

Support includes:

• Health promotion and education for children, young people, and whānau
• Child and youth health assessments and follow‑up
• Sexual health advice and contraception support for young people
• School‑based and community immunisation programmes
• Mild mental health advice and referrals to other services where needed.

Support is generally provided through schools, referrals, or outreach, rather than as a walk‑in service.
