Support is available for young people who:

  • are experiencing mental health concerns or emotional distress
  • have problematic to severe alcohol and/or other drug use
  • are using substances alongside mental health challenges
  • require supported or managed withdrawal
  • are affected by a parent or caregiver’s problematic relationship with alcohol or other drugs.

Support is also available for parents and caregivers seeking guidance and support when a young person, or their wider whānau environment, is affected by alcohol, other drug, or mental health concerns.

The service focuses on strengthening wellbeing and mental health, reducing alcohol and other drug‑related harm, and supporting young people to build safety, resilience, clarity, and positive life direction.

Young people and whānau can self‑refer to Mirror HQ. Referrals are also accepted from schools, health services, and community organisations, with consent. All support is provided free of charge.
