Food Business Levy - from 1 July 2025
From 1 July 2025, all registered food businesses will be subject to the Government's Food Business Levy.
The charges for the next three years are as follows:
| From 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026 |
$57.50 (plus GST) |
| From 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027 |
$86.25 (plus GST) |
| From 1 July 2027 |
$115.00 (plus GST) |
Council will collect these fees for MPI, and can recover administration costs of $11 (plus GST) which is not included in the levy fees above.
