The Oamaru Public Gardens children’s playground has entertained countless families over the years, and is a favourite with locals and visitors alike. Along with an enticing array of play equipment and paddling pools there are shaded seated areas, picnic tables, public toilets and barbecues available for use.
After they've finished playing, take the family for a stroll around the gardens and visit the nearby bird aviary. Free parking and access to the playground is off Chelmer Street.
