Join us in celebrating beloved councillor Jim Hopkins’ life

A civic memorial service will be held at the Ōamaru Opera House to celebrate the life of Waitaki District Councillor and Ōamaru resident Jim Hopkins on Saturday 22 August at 10am.

Join us and Jim’s colleagues and friends from over the years, including comedian Te Radar, radio host Jamie Mackay, North Otago Rotary’s Ele Ludemann and NZ Young Farmer patron Eric Roy. Other contributions will come from Jim’s former debating partners, friends, and family.

We welcome the community to attend and remember the life of Jim, who gave so much to public life and New Zealand.
