Council receives a presentation from Morrison Low and Bancorp regarding further information about the Water Services Delivery Plan and a potential credit rating.
Today the Mayor and Councillors took part in the fifth public workshop relating to the development of its Water Services Delivery Plan (WSDP).
Council officers were joined by a representative from Morrison Low, to discuss the further development of the Water Services Delivery Plan following the feedback from the Department of Internal Affairs provided last week. There was also a presentation from Bancorp, to discuss a potential credit rating for Council.
The deadline for providing the DIA with a final plan is September 3 2025. The Mayor and Councillors are required to approve a plan before submission.
A recording of todays workshop, including presentations given, will be published on Council’s website today.
Council encourages the community to watch the video of today's workshop and read the presentation to be fully informed about the development of the plan for delivery of water services to the district.
Council has held five public workshops, and provided the presentations and recordings from each on the same day as the workshop, about the development of its Water Services Delivery Plan.
