First meeting of new triennium distributes creative arts funds.

The Grant and Awards Sub-Committee met on Tuesday 11 November to assess the applications received for the Creative Communities Scheme Grant.

While $14,451.60 was available for the distribution from Creative NZ, applications totalling $29,429.00 were received.

The Grants and Awards Sub-Committee Chair Cr Jeremy Holding was pleased “The Committee thoroughly enjoyed meeting with several of the applicants and hearing directly about their projects. The enthusiasm and breadth of ideas and creative vision were truly impressive.”
