On Tuesday 25 November, the providers of Objective Build are switching from the existing system to a new one. For those applying after that date, there will be no change to how consents are processed.

However, any outstanding consent applications in the old system will need to be managed by email and cloud file share with Council, as they will not be transferred.

For Existing Consent Applications

For current applications, they will need to be resolved by Thursday 20 November.

If you have Requests for Further Information (RFIs) to respond to, please respond to them as quickly as possible to support the processing of your application.

Applications that are still in the old system on Thursday 20 November will be managed by email and cloud file share with Council.

This may add extra work for you in responding to RFI’s regarding your application.

Considering Applying?

If you have not applied for a consent yet, we strongly suggest making a submission on or after Tuesday 25 November to ensure it can be processed smoothly using the Objective Build system.

If your application is made before Thursday 20 November, and is still being processed, it will be managed via email and cloud file share with Council.
