IDEA Services (IHC New Zealand)

IDEA Services supports people with intellectual disabilities to live full and meaningful lives as part of their communities. Services are tailored to individual needs and support people to live as independently as possible, with the right level of assistance.

Services available include:

  • Supported living for people living in their own homes
  • Residential support for people who need higher levels of ongoing care
  • Day services and community participation activities
  • Support with daily living skills, social connection, and independence
  • Specialist services, including support for ageing and complex needs.

Access to IDEA Services is usually through a Needs Assessment and Service Coordination (NASC) process or other disability funding pathways.

IDEA Services operates in North Otago, with local services available in the Ōamaru area.
