Customers on the Dunback Zone of the Waihemo Water Supply are advised that the Conserve Water notice is now LIFTED.
The purpose of the Waste Minimisation Education Fund is to encourage schools and certified ECE’s to carry out projects in the area of waste minimisation and diversion that benefit their schools and if possible, the wider community.
The Small Projects fund has $6,000 per year for contestable funding applications up to $200 each.
Schools and certified ECE’s must apply for the Waste Minimisation Education fund by 30 September 2022 and have the funds spent by 30 May 2023, with accountability forms due by 30 June 2023.
The Waitaki Waste Minimisation Fund is also available for schools to apply to for bigger projects of up to $5,000 and schools are welcome to apply for both.

All recipients of funds from Council must complete the Accountability form by 30 June 2023. If you do not complete the accountability form then you may not be eligible for future finding through Council.
