Next week Waitaki District Council contractors will be undertaking weed spraying at sites on Cape Wanbrow, to control gorse, broom and blackberry indicated in the red shade area in the image.
Spraying will start Wednesday 22nd - Friday 24th. This is dependent on weather.
The contractor will be using Amizon brushkiller, pulse penetrant and red envirodye. Information sheets for these are provided below.
Please make a note that it will be safe to walk the tracks after spraying is complete, but please avoid the public or animals walking through any of the red dye.
Signage will be placed at the entrance to Cape Wanbrow, and workers and trucks will be on-site.
