Water Shutdown Notice - Kakanui

Next week Whitestone Contracting Limited will be connecting the water main for Kakanui to the pipework on the Kakanui Bridge.

Water will be shut off at 9am, and work is anticipated to take 6 hours. Water should be turned back on at approximately 5pm.

The alternate day for this is Thursday 19 February.

As the majority of Kakanui Residents are on a restricted supply, you will have sufficient water storage, but please check and store sufficient water for your needs during this period. Note that discoloration of the water may be experienced once the water is turned back on. We advise you to run off the water for a period until it becomes clear again.
