Water Services Delivery Plan – Workshop #4 Recording & Documents

Council reviews the Department of Internal Affairs feedback on the Draft Water Services Delivery plan.
Today the Mayor and Councillors took part in the fourth public workshop relating to the development of its Water Services Delivery Plan (WSDP).
Council officers were joined by representatives of the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) to to discuss the feedback provided by DIA relating to the Draft WSDP.
Council’s Draft WDSP was provided on Thursday 31 July, and the feedback was provided on the evening of Monday 11 August.
The DIA presented a more detailed explanation of their feedback. This was considered and discussed by the Mayor and Councillors. The feedback will be published alongside this media release.
Representatives from Morrison Low also presented an update on the development of the plan including how the DIA feedback might be addressed.
The deadline for providing the DIA with a final plan is September 3 2025.

Council encourages the community to watch the video of today's workshop and read the presentation to be fully informed about the development of the plan for delivery of water services to the district.

The next public workshop is scheduled from 1pm to 2.30pm on Tuesday 19 August 2025 at the Council Chambers.
