WATER AND ROADING UPDATES

WATER CONSUMERS SOUTH OF OAMARU, AS FAR AS MOERAKI

Good news! The WATER TO THIS AREA HAS BEEN TURNED BACK ON. It could take some time to reach everyone's property, so thank you everyone for your patience. its back on but could take some time to reach everyone’s property.

OAMARU WATER SUPPLY

The council hopes to have the Oamaru water supply back to normal later today and we will let people know when that happens. In the meantime, PLEASE CONTINUE TO CONSERVE WATER.

WATERFRONT ROAD

Waterfront Road was assessed and WON’T BE CLOSED. The railway remains out of action and a Geotech engineer is being called to site as soon as possible to do a full assessment.

LATEST ROADING CHANGES AS AT 2PM 11 JULY:

Devils Bridge Rd - Now OPEN

Finch's Rd - Now OPEN, just back to its normal state of 4x4 only

Works Rd - Closed from McCulloch Rd to McEneany

Biggs Rd - Closed McEneany Rd to Richmond Rd

Steward Rd - Closed Richmond Rd to Corbett Rd

Steward Rd - Seven Mile to Mcpherson Rd - Deep scour down edge
