Vote 2022 video competition

Hey Waitaki! Tell people why they should vote local.

You could WIN a $200 voucher by making and sending us a 15-30 second video that encourages people to vote in this year's local government elections.

We don’t need fancy (you can use your phone). You could tell people why voting is important, how and when to get their votes in, or... it’s up to you. Just get creative and make it fun! 

There are three age categories for entries and three vouchers to a local business of your choice to be won. Group entries welcome.

Age categories:

  • Under 12s
  • 13-17
  • 18 and over

Get your videos in ASAP! you can upload your video or send us a YouTube link using the form below or use Messenger to send to Council’s Facebook or Instagram (please include your age category and contact details). #vote2022waitaki
