Council clean-up at Robbs Crossing

Whitestone Contracting removing fly-tipping
Yesterday Council and Whitestone Contracting Limited were at Robbs Crossing by the Kakanui River, removing fly-tipped rubbish and two burned-out vehicles from the site to be disposed of properly.
 
The community had reported dumping issues on the site, and as part of resolving it, Council decided to safely remove and dispose of the rubbish.

 

Fly-tipping should always be reported to Council, either by Snap, Send, Solve or by emailing Council service@waitaki.govt.nz or calling 03 433 0300.
