Rainbow Reading

Waitaki District Libraries has created a list of YA Rainbow Reads on our catalogue. Head here to check it out! We will constantly update this list, so make sure to keep a look out for new titles. 

We are now adding rainbow stickers to the spines of YA books so you can identify those with LGBTQIA+ representation and themes. 

As we are still building up our own LGBTQIA+ collection and the reviews to go with it, we would like you, just in the meantime, to take a look at Christchurch City Libraries' LGBTQIA+ pages. 

We strongly believe that you are also the experts when it comes to building our YA collections. 

So if you have any suggestions on what we should buy or you've got a book or other media review we could publish on these pages, please let us know.
