Memory Care Collection

++++++++++The Memory Care collection comprises fiction, non-fiction and dementia-specific photo books, as well as dementia friendly jigsaws and memory kit bags that contain a selection of related items chosen to help stimulate the senses and promote discussion and reminiscing.  We also have a range of books about dementia, including books to help out those who are caring for people with dementia.

 

You can come in to take a look at our collection - which is housed in our Non Fiction area.  Feel free to ask one of our friendly library staff to help you locate the collection or, if you have a more specific inquiry, please email one of our Memory Care selectors: earmstrong@waitaki.govt.nz or mbarker@waitaki.govt.nz
