The Palmerston Library is a light, bright library based alongside the Waihemo Council Service Centre. The library offers adult fiction and non-fiction, children and youth collections, adult large print and audio books, DVDs, local history and local information. Come and use the free internet, do some printing, read magazines and newspapers or do some family research on the free library edition of Ancestry. If you can’t find the book or item you want just ask our friendly staff to see if we have the item in another local library and we can send it down to Palmerston for you to borrow. Just return it to Palmerston Library when finished. If you don’t have a library card yet come along to join up and gain access to all the services available to all members of Waitaki District Libraries.
