Hampden Library

Whitestone building with front doors opening to the library.

Hampden Library is a thriving community library run by an amazing team of local volunteers. The library offers adult fiction and non-fiction, children and youth collections, some adult large print and audio books, lots of DVDs, local and council information and more. See the website or pop in one day and chat to the volunteers to find out more.

Bookshelves with library books and a window on the right.

If you can’t find the book or item you want just ask to see if we have the item in another local library and we can send it to Hampden for you to borrow.  You can also return it to Hampden Library when finished.  If you don’t have a library card yet come along to join up and gain access to all the services available to all members of Waitaki District Libraries.  For location details, please refer to the map below.

Many thanks Hampden Library volunteers – your support to keep Hampden Library open is very much appreciated!
