Ōamaru Library to close for heating upgrade

The Ōamaru Library will be closed from end of business Friday 12 May, reopening on Monday 29 May to upgrade the library heating system in time for winter. All borrowed library items will be automatically extended on the evening of the 12th of May to a due date of June 2nd.

We're getting ready to reopen on Monday, the 29th of May at 9.30am. The heating is now in and we're moving things back in. See you on Monday!

Maker Space

Ōamaru Public Library's Maker Space has three Prusa 3D printers, a Cricut cutting machine, a tee-shirt press and mug press, a Brother Sewing Machine and a Brother Over-locker. Find out how you can utilise our Maker Space equipment here.
