It's free to join Waitaki District Libraries

We have a range of free memberships for Waitaki residents and ratepayers. We also provide free membership for Waimate and Dunedin residents. If you are a visitor to the Waitaki district for up to six months, you are eligible for a holiday borrower membership.

Be responsible for items borrowed with my card. This includes any items borrowed by another person using my card.
If you are an adult or guarantor, be responsible for items borrowed on your children’s cards. This includes overdue books and unpaid debts.

Return all items borrowed by the due date.

Accept that I may be unable to borrow any further items if I do not return overdue ones within 21 days of their due date AND/OR have unpaid debts totaling more than $15.00
