Skinny Jump
Waitaki District Libraries is an authorised Skinny Jump partner. Skinny Jump is for people who don't have an Internet broadband connection at home because cost is a barrier.
We specifically support those most at risk of digital exclusion, as identified in the government's digital inclusion blueprint.
First, we need to check if your address has Skinny Jump coverage. Use the address checker to make sure you are in the coverage area.
Next, if one or more of the following sounds like you, then you will be eligible:
- Families with children
- Job seekers
- Seniors
- People with disabilities
- Refugees and migrant communities
- Those in social housing
- Rural communities
Give us a ring on 03 433 0850 to make an appointment to see one of our librarians or come in to to see us at the Ōamaru Public Library to fill out a form (we can also help you with the form if you need it).
If you don't live in Ōamaru or can't see us in person, don't worry, we can also order you a modem on the phone - but please be aware that your modem could take up to 5 days to be couriered to you.
