Heritage Collection

The Heritage Collection, which is housed at the Ōamaru Public Library, is primarily a collection of local history material. Although the collection will be of particular interest to local history researchers and genealogists, writers and artists may also appreciate the collection as it contains contemporary and historical works by local writers, artists, print-makers and publishers.

Visitors and library members alike are encouraged to explore this collection and, although items cannot be borrowed, they can be signed out to view in the library.
