Maker Space

Maker Spaces and/or Creative Spaces are common place in most libraries these days, so we thought it time we got one too!

Although we are at the very early stages of planning for a space, we have begun to acquire equipment that will be made available at the Ōamaru and Palmerston Public libraries.  We have acquired two 3D printers - thanks to the kind and generous donation of the Oamaru Rotary Club and a member of our public.

We are also about to acquire a Cricut Maker and lastly, some brand new sewing machines - which can be borrowed from our Ōamaru Library very soon.
