Kurow Community Library will be closed from Monday 8th December to Friday 12th December inclusive. This is to fit a new carpet in building. The drop box at the door will still be available for the return of books whilst the library is closed. Otherwise, books can be returned the following week. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Cricut introductory sessions
Book a one-on-one introductory session for adults (16+) with one of our librarians and learn how to create and cut your project using our clever Cricut machine.
A Cricut is not just for crafters, people have used them to get small businesses off the ground, from producing business cards and stickers, to initial project designs and prototypes.
Project ideas for Cricut machines include: vinyl numbers, lettering or fancy designs for: signs; letterbox numbers; feature wall décor; vehicle decals; upcycling furniture. Fabric shapes (e.g. for quilting); cards and papercrafts; stencils; stickers; fabric/paper flowers; iron-on or infused t-shirt designs; and more…
PLEASE NOTE: You do need to have a project/purpose in mind (try Googling, Pinterest, You Tube, etc., for Cricut projects). Sessions are introductory and cover Thursday April 18, Tuesday April 23, Wednesday May 1. If you can't make one of our existing sessions (3 sessions per day) please let us know and we will look into it for you.
