Full of great songs, dances and toe-tapping tunes, everyone in the family will love Musical Theatre Oamaru Children's Theatre production of 'Wind in the Willows'. See you there. Poop! Poop!
Wind in the Willows follows the adventures and misadventures of four friends, Toad, Ratty, Mole and Badger. Ratty and Mole are quite happy with their peaceful existence on the riverbank and Badger with his home in the Wild Woods but Toad seeks a much more exciting life out on the open road. An energetic dare-devil character, Toad is obsessed with speed. He is arrested for stealing a car and ends up being sentenced to 20 years in jail. Clever Toad escapes disguised as a washer- woman, takes a barge-woman’s horse and heads home.
Meanwhile the Stoats and Weasels have taken over Toad Hall. Badger leads the charge to reclaim Toad’s ancestral home and the Wild Wooders are forced out.
