Council does not provide a recycling collection service in Waitaki and therefore does not charge rates for this. Kerbside collection services are provided by private contractors.
If you don’t have transport or the time to drop off your recyclables, Waitaki has a range of service providers who can pick them up from your place.
Check out Guide to recycling for the range of materials which can be recycled in Waitaki.
Kerbside recycling collection providers
The following businesses will pick up your recycling from outside your property. You will need to check with them to confirm which areas they service, what recyclables they will pick up and how they would like you to sort it - eg newspapers tied in a bundle.
This is the most up-to-date information made available to Council from these businesses. We cannot guarantee its accuracy and recommend you contact them directly to confirm details.
