School Holidays

There's always something on at our libraries for the school holidays!  Check this space regularly for updates.

Monday October 3, 10am-12pm: (drop in) Decorate a pot: paint or decorate a pot for you to plant something in this spring! Children aged 7 and under, please come with a parent/caregiver

Tuesday October 4, 10am-12pm: (drop in) Brick Stars: Use the library’s Lego collection to take part in challenges or build creations of your own choice. Children aged 7 and under, please come with a parent/caregiver

Thursday October 6, 10.30-11.00am: Toddler Time: Stories & music for pre-schoolers and their parents/caregivers

Monday October 10, 10am-12pm: Tissue paper suncatchers: use small pieces of colored tissue paper to create colorful stained glass-looking suncatchers. Children aged 7 and under, please come with a parent/caregiver

Tuesday October 11, 10am-12pm: (drop in) Brick Stars: Use the library’s Lego collection to take part in challenges or build creations of your own choice. Children aged 7 and under, please come with a parent/caregiver

Thursday October 13, 10.30 – 11.30am: Tākaro Tamariki: learn waiata (songs), play a kēmu (game) or two and do mahi-ā-ringa (a craft activity). Ages 5 and up
