Ōamaru Library to close for heating upgrade

The Ōamaru Library will be closed from end of business Friday 12 May, reopening on Monday 29 May to upgrade the library heating system in time for winter. All borrowed library items will be automatically extended on the evening of the 12th of May to a due date of June 2nd.

Library reopening

We're getting ready to reopen on Monday, the 29th of May at 9.30am. The heating is now in and we're moving things back in. See you on Monday!

Thursday April 13 10.30-11.00am: Toddler Time: Stories & music for pre-schoolers and their parents/caregiversMonday

Monday April 17, Tuesday April 18: 10am-12pm (drop in) Brick Stars: Use the library’s Lego collection to take part in challenges or just build creations of your own choice.

Thursday April 20 10.30-11.00am: Toddler Time: Stories & music for pre-schoolers and their parents/caregivers

Friday April 21, 10.30 – 11.30am: Tākaro Tamariki: learn waiata (songs), play a kēmu (game) or two and do mahi-ā-ringa (a craft activity). Ages 5 and up
