As usual, our Maker Space Monday event is for those aged 14 yrs and up and runs on the last Monday of every month.
We are now fully booked, but if you would like to go on our waiting list in case of a participant cancellation or you'd like to join our Maker Space Monday mailing list, please contact Debbie Price-Ewen via the contact details listed on the right.
This month's Maker Space Monday will teach you how to use a printing press. Our expert this month is Natalie Carpenter, an accomplished artist, teacher, and co-facilitator for the Waitaki Creative Wellbeing group. We will be using two printing presses, 3D printed at the Ōamaru Public Library using our own 3D printers. You will learn how to print using a variety of techniques and we will also show you what you can create with these prints.
For those interested in 3D printing their own presses via the Open Press Project, we can share with you how we did it and advise you on costings.
