Every year school students from around the Waitaki share their artistic talents with us. The Forrester Gallery asks all the schools and early childhood education centres in the Waitaki District to contribute student art work to the Burns Memorial Exhibition.

Burns Imaginary Creatures Scavenger Hunt & Activity
Based on the surrealist parlour game The Exquisite Corpse you are invited to draw body parts as you explore the artwork by Waitaki tamariki. Use recycled materials at the
creation station to make your own Imaginary Creature to take home or leave on display.

Holiday Programme | 11-2pm, 11 - 13 October 2022
Three days of hands-on art activities including Imaginary Creatures and designing a tartan for the Waitaki Tartan competition.
