Support for businesses

The COVID-19 New Zealand Government website has information on financial support and help for businesses.

2. Wage subsidies and other support

Businesses impacted financially by COVID-19 are being offered a range of support measures to help protect jobs. Eligible firms can claim both a resurgence support payment and the wage subsidy, as well as other payments for workers taking Covid tests or in self-isolation.

3. Connected.govt.nz

The Connected.govt.nz website was launched to connects New Zealanders to the wide range of supports and advice available through government agencies to help workers and businesses dealing with the impact of COVID-19.

4. Local Support

A number of organisations support the local business community with advice and connections to other businesses.

 

 

 

5. Covid information and advice for the Primary Sector

The Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) provides advice, guidance, and support for those working in the primary sector during the COVID-19 pandemic. It includes information for businesses and staff working in the food, farming, forestry, and fishing industries.
