Other funding options

GivUS and GivMe

If you or your group does not meet the criteria for any of the grants, we still may be able to assist you. Council has access to Generosity New Zealand's grant database GivUs and scholarship database GivMe. These can be accessed at Oamaru Public Library, Citizens Advice Bureau, Waihemo Service Centre or via visiting the Waitaki District Libraries website. You'll need to have your Waitaki library card number handy to register.

GivUS and GivMe are nationwide databases of funding available. We are more than happy to guide you and your organisation to a scheme that could be of benefit to you.
