Where Are We Now?

We have released a Draft District Plan to give the community an opportunity to provide informal feedback - for us to know if we are on the right track or not.

Following your feedback, we will consider what changes need to be made before we jump into the more formal part of a plan review – public notification of the Proposed District Plan. It’s only at the Proposed stage that the new rules will start to have effect. 

Feedback on our Draft District Plan ran for 12 weeks and closed at the end of August 2022.
