Annual Plan 2017/18

The Annual Plan outlines what we are planning to do over the next financial year, how much it will cost and how it will be funded.  It includes information about our activities, services, projects and financial Information.

Our Annual Plan for 2017/18 represents the third year of the 2015-25 Long Term Plan (LTP) which we adopted in June 2015. We have stuck to what was agreed in our LTP but obviously the world doesn’t stand still so we have some  adjustments that include some new projects. They’re all under ‘Our Projects’ below.

The Issues

We’ve identified some issues that we’d like your feedback on:

  1. Investing in infrastructure and technology so we’re providing good customer service, have well-functioning and safe roads and good street lighting.

  2. Having good recreational facilities so that residents have a sense of belonging and pride in Waitaki.
