MOBILE TRADERS AND FUNDRAISING ORGANISATIONS
If you wish to trade in the Waitaki District selling food a licence will be required.
Licence fees for Mobile Traders (includes Mobile Shops, Hawkers and Stalls)
Selling food:
• Whole Year - $120.00 per year. This covers the period from 1 July to 30 June
Or
• One Event -$30.00 to trade at a single event for up to one week.
• Non-profit organizations (e.g. sports clubs, schools) – free, but are still expected to comply with safe food handling protocols.
• All persons wishing to sell food, whether commercial or non-profit, must make application to the Waitaki District Council for a licence and or approval at least 10 working days prior to trading.
