| BOIL WATER NOTICES
Once a boil water notice is issued it remains until it is lifted. Council will consider lifting a boil water notice when three consecutive water tests pass. Testing is usually done daily when a boil water notice is in place.
Hampden/Moeraki (8/2/2010) Customers on the Hampden/Moeraki Rural Water Supply are advised to boil all drinking water until further notice due to possible contamination of the water supply.
Precautionary measures should also be taken when preparing any food that has to be washed, bathing and oral hygiene.
Lakes Camp Sites [ongoing] Please boil drinking water at the lakes camp sites.
Otematata [ongoing] All consumers on the Otematata water supply are advised that all drinking water should be boiled. This is due to the possibility of contamination within the water supply.
