T.A.G.

T.A.G. - Totally Against Graffiti is a program to educate students and their parents of the cost and consequences of graffiti, increasing anxiety of offenders and reducing the visibility of graffiti in schools, neighborhoods and community.
The program focuses on school children to take the lead to eliminate graffiti and educate their peers and families of the costs and consequences. The group will also lead community activities to identify and remove graffiti and to beautify their community.

Who can join T.A.G.
T.A.G. is made up of senior representatives from Primary and Intermediate Schools. The group is  mentored by Secondary School students or representatives from Youth Groups, Students Against Driving Drunk, Youth Council, Blue Light Committee etc and is supported by Local Authorities,  Youth Workers and Police.

What is the role of the T.A.G. committee.
The T.A.G. group is a governing committee who will identify and implement initiatives to educate the wider community about the costs and consequences of graffiti. The group meets once a month and    implement projects such as “Graffiti Free” week, “Graffiti Eradication“ projects as well as graffiti prevention initiatives such as planting,  murals, etc.

Why do we need T.A.G.
Prevention and removal of graffiti enhances the quality and attractiveness of neighborhoods for residents and businesses. T.A.G. is also a tool to educate the younger community relating to graffiti.
