Waitaki District Council Community Groups - Directory The Waitaki District Council Community Group Directory has been updated for 2009. It now includes over 330 volunteer organisations. The size of the directory is a testament to the ongoing support and dedication of volunteers the Waitaki community. The directory provides simple and easy to find contact information for the many organisations it lists. Listings range from the Acting Up Children’s Theatre Group to World Vision and everything in between. Feedback on previous editions of the directory indicates that it has been very useful for introducing individuals to new people and organisations in the district. In consideration for the environment, and to lower printing costs, people are encouraged to view the directory online below or at the Oamaru, Palmerston Library. A limited number of printed copies are available from the front counter at the Council in Oamaru or you may view a copy there also. Groups not currently listed are encouraged to contact the Council to be included in the next edition or download an update form below.

Community Group Directory A limited number of the printed version of the directory is available from Council Offices, Waihemo Service Centre, and the Oamaru Library, at a cost of $10. Next Update...January 2010 Updates and changes for the Community Groups Directory need to be received by 30th November 2009, if they are to be included in the 2010 edition.   Sports Groups and Clubs The Directory does NOT include Sports Clubs. Grahame Johnston, Sport Waitaki co-ordinator, has already developed an up to date database of all sporting organisations in the District.  It is available by contacting Grahame.
